Twenty greenhouse plants under ROST Group have successfully passed certification by Roskachestvo-Organic, the only accredited body in Russia for certifying eco-friendly products. During certification, ROST Group’s enterprises confirmed that the quality and consumer characteristics of their products meet the strict standards set by Federal Law No. 159-FZ “On agricultural products, raw materials, and food with improved characteristics” and GOST R 79575-2022 “Products and food with improved characteristics. Greenhouse-grown vegetables."

Specifically, this type of product is subject to stricter regulations on the use of pesticides and fertilizers. The use of GMOs, ionizing radiation, enzyme preparations, food additives, antibiotics, growth stimulants, and hormones is strictly prohibited—and environmental impact is kept to a minimum.

Thus, the certification confirms the uncompromising eco-friendliness of vegetable production at ROST Group’s greenhouse plants.

Information about ROST Group’s protected-ground vegetable producers has been added to the State Register of Agricultural Producers, Raw Materials, and Food with Improved Characteristics. All products from the greenhouse plants have earned the right to carry the official state mark of conformity, the “Green Standard” label, along with a QR code. Both are authorized and owned by the Russian Ministry of Agriculture.

With a QR code on the product label, any customer can easily check if the manufacturer is listed in the Ministry of Agriculture's Register, view the list of certified products, find out the production location, and check the certificate's validity period.

There is a growing demand in society for healthy and nutritious food products, and the market for agricultural goods with improved characteristics is expanding. Today's consumers are looking for more than just food; they expect more, and our company provides that opportunity in the fresh vegetable segment. "As leaders in the protected-ground vegetable market, we set high quality standards for the entire industry, and receiving the 'Green Standard' is both an acknowledgment and a motivation for continuous improvement in sustainable production," said Andrey Teteruk, Quality Director at ROST Group.

"Receiving the certification means that the manufacturer has passed a two-stage verification process with an accredited certification body and meets all the requirements for producing goods with improved characteristics, as outlined in domestic standards. This boosts competitiveness and consumer trust, and also serves as a benchmark for anyone looking to choose eco-friendly products," commented Vladimir Uvaidov, Director of the Organic and Eco-Friendly Products Development Department at Roskachestvo
