ROST Group and the Government of the Republic of Buryatia signed a cooperation agreement at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum

Saint Petersburg, June 6, 2024 — ROST Group and the Government of the Republic of Buryatia agreed at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum to cooperate on the implementation of a greenhouse complex construction project in the Selenginsky District. Natalya Loresh, Director General of UK ROST LLC, and Aleksey Tsydenov, Head of the Republic of Buryatia and Chairman of the Government of the Republic of Buryatia, signed the document.

For ROST Group, which consistently pursues its development strategy that includes the construction of state-of-the-art greenhouse complexes in Russian regions, this investment project in the Republic of Buryatia is the first project in the Far Eastern Federal District and a significant milestone in its 11-year history. 

It's expected that 250 people will work at the 50-acre greenhouse complex. The opening of the high-tech enterprise for continuous cultivation of protected-ground vegetables (cucumbers and tomatoes) is scheduled for 2026.
