ROST management company and Omskaya Oblast sign a greenhouse complex construction agreement

Saint Petersburg, June 5, 2024 — On the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, ROST management company and Omskaya Oblast agreed to build a greenhouse complex in the region. Natalya Loresh, Director General of UK ROST LLC, and Vitaly Khotsenko, Governor of Omskaya Oblast and Chairman of the Omskaya Oblast Government, signed the document. 

The agreement provides for cooperation between the parties in the implementation of a major investment project for the construction of a greenhouse complex in Omskaya Oblast (Omsky District). The Agency for Development and Investment of Omskaya Oblast will handle the operational interaction with ROST management company on behalf of the region.

ROST Group's first greenhouse complex in the Siberian Federal District will supply the region's residents with fresh vegetables throughout the year. The parties also forecast that the implementation of this project will contribute to the growth of the social and economic potential of Omskaya Oblast, including the creation of about 300 jobs. It's expected that the plant will be commissioned in 2026.
