On December 13, the fourth stage of the TyumenAgro greenhouse complex began its work. The opening was attended by the Governor of Tyumen Oblast Aleksandr Moor, the director of the Tyumen branch of Russian Agricultural Bank Mikhail Stebikhov, and partners.
The fourth stage was launched with the support of Russian Agricultural Bank. From an area of 18.9 hectares, we plan to collect 8,500 metric tons of vegetables annually.
With the launch of the fourth stage, the TyumenAgro greenhouse complex became the largest in the Ural and Siberian Federal Districts. The total area of the enterprise has increased to 51.7 hectares. In total, TyumenAgro plans to produce 40,000 metric tons of vegetables during the agricultural year, depending on breeds and hybrids.
TyumenAgro added 370 more jobs. In total, 1,100 people work in the greenhouse complex.
By increasing the area and increasing capacity, the ROST Group is implementing a strategy to provide Russians with fresh vegetables. Over the course of a year, 400,000 tonnes of vegetables were harvested from twenty greenhouse complexes.
