ROST Group Signs Two Investment Protection and Promotion Agreements at SPIEF for Greenhouse Complexes in Russia's Omsk Oblast and Republic of Buryatia

4 июня 2026

As part of the 29th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, ROST Group, a leader in the greenhouse-grown vegetable market, signed two agreements on the protection and promotion of capital investments, known as SZPK agreements, with Russia's Ministry of Economic Development and the governments of Omsk Oblast and the Republic of Buryatia. Both documents were signed by Natalia Loresh, CEO of ROST Management Company.

The SZPK agreements lock in stable conditions for the implementation of investment projects to build and subsequently operate modern greenhouse complexes in the two regions. Each facility, covering roughly 20 hectares, will produce 15,000 metric tons of vegetables per year and create more than 300 jobs. The greenhouse complex in Gusinoozyorsk in the Republic of Buryatia is expected to be commissioned in the first quarter of 2027, while production at the Sibirsky greenhouse complex in Omsk Oblast is also scheduled to begin in 2027.

"For ROST Group, the SZPK mechanism is a key tool for scaling our investment program. Locking in tax and regulatory conditions gives us the confidence to deliver high-tech projects. The launch of the Sibirsky and Gusinoozyorsky greenhouse complexes will significantly increase the self-sufficiency of the Siberian and Far Eastern federal districts in fresh, natural vegetables. Once the facilities reach full capacity, our supply geography will cover Omsk Oblast, the Republic of Buryatia, and neighboring regions, enabling local residents to receive our high-quality products year-round. We are also exploring export opportunities to expand sales," said Natalia Loresh, CEO of ROST Management Company.
