ROST Group, the market leader in greenhouse-grown vegetables, is taking part in International Youth Festival 2026, held in Yekaterinburg on September 11–17. The event has brought together more than 10,000 attendees from 192 countries.
At "Source of Life," the Russian Ministry of Agriculture's ag pavilion, ROST has created two interactive experiences. In the tasting area, visitors can sample the signature Medovye and Sladkaya Yagoda cherry tomatoes and explore Botanika, Russia's first-ever cucumber brand, alongside Flamenco, the bright-red plum tomatoes that are among the country's most popular.
Also on display is a scale model of a modern ROST high-tech greenhouse, showing core production systems including supplemental LED lighting, drip irrigation, evaporative cooling and humidification. The greenhouse also features a bumblebee hive, reflecting the essential role bumblebees play in pollinating tomatoes.
ROST is also expanding its work with the next generation of agricultural talent. The company is strengthening partnerships with agricultural universities, supporting joint projects, helping improve workforce training for the agriculture sector and preparing to launch specialized agriculture programs in schools. At the festival, students can apply for internships and hands-on training opportunities at ROST's modern greenhouse facilities.
"We are excited to see young people take a genuine interest in our high-quality, flavorful and nutritious produce and in how greenhouse-grown vegetables are produced. Participating in a major youth forum like this gives us a chance to show the next generation how quickly agriculture is evolving into a more high-tech, sustainable and efficient industry. Our network of 23 advanced greenhouse complexes across 16 regions is a real-world example of that transformation," said Elizaveta Samigullina, Marketing Manager at ROST Management Company.
