On October 23, the Russian State Agrarian University–Moscow Timiryazev Agricultural Academy held the grand opening of a new educational classroom, the ROST Knowledge Greenhouse, created with the support of ROST Group—Russia’s largest producer of protected-ground vegetables. The symbolic red ribbon was cut by the university’s rector, Vladimir Trukhachev, and Natalia Loresh, CEO of ROST Management Company.
The classroom project is part of the ROST Group’s comprehensive program for training specialists for Russia’s agro-industrial complex. The new 315-square-meter space brings together a lecture hall for 47 students, a computer lab for 27, and a creative zone designed for teamwork and project development. With its modern setup, the classroom gives students hands-on experience in solving real-world challenges—from agricultural innovation to rural development.
"We’re not just training specialists—we’re shaping the future of the agro-industrial complex by working side by side with industry leaders like ROST Group. Four greenhouse specialists are already continuing their education in our postgraduate programs, two of them through targeted enrollment in 2025. I’m especially proud that 150 second-year students have completed internships in high-tech greenhouses under the guidance of leading experts. I’m confident the ROST Knowledge Greenhouse’will become a hub of ideas and growth—a place where innovation takes root and future professionals thrive,” said Vladimir Trukhachev, Rector of RSAU–MTAA, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and Professor.
"I’m sure this modern classroom will become a true engine of innovation—a place where breakthrough ideas and projects are born, not only for the protected ground industry but for the entire agro-industrial sector," added Natalia Loresh, CEO of ROST Management Company.
The opening of the classroom deepens the long-term partnership between ROST Group and the Timiryazev Academy. Since 2023, over 150 students have completed internships at ROST Group’s greenhouse complexes, 25 have finished trainee programs, and 7 graduates have joined the company. This collaboration is focused on preparing skilled professionals ready to meet the demands of a modern, high-tech agricultural industry.
