Managers and employees of the ROST Group, the leader of the Russian market of greenhouse vegetables, have completed eight-month training under the Growth Potential program specifically developed by the SKOLKOVO School of Management, one of the leading schools in Russia.
Experts of the SKOLKOVO School of Management have been working with a representative of the greenhouse sector for the first time.
Training of the program participants has been split into six modules. For the duration of the program, the participants have not only gained knowledge of advanced technologies but have started to apply them in business through management of real projects aimed at improvement of the operational efficiency.
The creative collaboration between the ROST Group and the SKOLKOVO School of Management has been content-rich, memorable and efficient as 14 of 60 program participants have already been appointed to new positions, with 6 of them being representatives of the key, agronomical branch.
"We've banked on "growing" managers inside the company", noted Chairman of the Board of Directors of the ROST Group, Sergey Rukin. "Our goal is to train new-style managers able to react to external challenges efficiently and quickly, organically deploy digital technologies and AI in our actively developing agribusiness. Obviously, such dynamic development requires new approaches to management aimed at maximizing performance and profitability. And when we talk about these new approaches within the Program of the SKOLKOVO School of Management, we focus the attention of the participants not only on the key areas of the digital transformation of our business (that is relevant today like never before!) but also on equally important changes to the corporate culture, approaches to resource management. That's why we believe it necessary to invest in such integrated training of our managers and employees".
The ROST Group plans to keep investing in the development of its best employees and managers aiming at professional growth, and expanding the range of programs of additional professional education to fulfill the potential of our workforce.
