ROST Group is going to build, in two phases, a 30-ha greenhouse plant in Khabarovsk Krai. Vegetables of the Far East LLC, part of ROST Group, will be the project owner.
This greenhouse plant is to become the Far East's largest protected ground vegetable producer and boost the region's self-sufficiency by 15.5 percentage points, reaching 47.5% by 2027. During the first phase, 218 jobs will be created at the plant.

On March 18, 2025, the Governor of Khabarovsk Krai, Dmitry Demeshin, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of ROST Group, Sergey Rukin, signed the term sheet for the investment project in the region.

"In our Far Eastern climate, greenhouse vegetable farming is one of the key agricultural priorities. Energy-intensive as greenhouse production is, we have a kit of support measures in place that will help enterprises reduce their costs. Such include subsidies for the purchase of equipment and energy resources," noted Dmitry Demeshin, the Governor of Khabarovsk Krai.

ROST Group, Russia's greatest protected ground vegetable producer with an annual volume of 500,000 tons, is proud to announce its cooperation with the key region of the Far Eastern Federal District. I believe this greenhouse plant project, which will leverage state-of-the-art agricultural technology, will contribute hugely to the food security of Khabarovsk Krai and the Far Eastern Federal District. We plan to produce Far East consumers' favorites, including Flamenco, "Medovye" cherry tomatoes, and "Sladkaya Yagoda." We also expect that the region's growing transport infrastructure will unlock the export potential of our top-quality greenhouse products," mentioned Sergey Rukin, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of ROST Group.
